There's no denying that the vision of IBS-STL is a big one. But a big vision is required for the enormous need that
faces the Church in this new century.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus described the need—and
its urgency. Only one thing has changed—the harvest has multiplied many times over, and so has the need for
harvest workers.

Without harvesters, the crops will rot in the field. The sowing, watering, and tending all will be for naught if workers are not mobilized to bring in the harvest.

Today the spiritual harvest is out there—waiting to be brought into the Lord's barns.

And today, IBS-STL—with its multiplied vision for evangelism and discipleship, its multiplied competencies, and its multiplied reach—is positioned to equip workers for the harvest fields around the world. IBS-STL embraces the globe with the truth of God's Word and the love of Jesus Christ through:

Critical Global Initiatives—These strategic evangelism and discipleship outreaches cross geographic, economic, political, ethnic, and religious barriers to get God's Word to people who might never have it otherwise.

Bible Translation—Our clear, accurate, contemporary Bible translations provide life-transforming words that draw unbelievers to relationship with Christ and strengthen believers in their faith. [see video]

Bible and Christian Literature Publishing—Bibles and Scripture-based books, CDs, and DVDs change people's minds, hearts, and lives—and can transform generations.

Global Distribution Networks—Nothing is worse than having desperately needed Bibles and Christian literature stuck in storerooms or warehouses because of poor distribution channels. IBS-STL's distribution networks ensure God's Word reaches the people waiting for it.

Christian Retail Centers—Christian bookstores are an oasis for hungry and thirsty believers and seekers. The welcoming, peaceful atmosphere of our Christ-centered shops—in places as diverse as India and the United Kingdom—soothes the soul and opens the mind and heart to God's love and truth. Proceeds from sales primarily go back to supporting this vital IBS-STL mission; however, 10 percent goes to other ministries to help fund compassionate outreaches, such as medical care, home construction, schools, and church planting.
